Product Details

Rooted in the beauty of Highgrove Gardens, this timeless collection brings hand-painted Sanderson artwork directly from the studio to your home. Inspired by historic archives, these pieces celebrate exceptional British design and enduring craftsmanship. Crafted in the UK from soft recycled polyester, these machine washable runners combine Highgrove by Sanderson’s archival designs and Hug Rug’s exceptional British manufacturing, bringing luxury to everyday living. Designed for busy homes, they're soft underfoot, easy to care for and perfect for adding lasting colour and character to living rooms, kitchens and hallways.

The Kitchen Garden references the pears, apples, gooseberries and runner beans grown amongst the foliage of Highgrove’s Kitchen Garden. The design’s ribbon trail nods to the apple tunnel that runs through the garden. Designed on a sage green background, the green and ivory ribbon trail is arranged around the muted tones of red and green provided by the Kitchen Garden flora and fauna.

Machine washable at 30ºC
Made in Britain from recycled materials
One piece solution that's easy to assemble and wash
Non-slip, natural rubber backing
Matching washable runner available

Our Hug Rug Eco-Washable rugs are handcrafted with a soft recycled polyester surface and a natural rubber backing that keeps them securely in place. Perfect for living rooms, bedrooms or any space that needs an elegant, welcoming touch, these rugs blend comfort, style and everyday practicality.

Caring For Your Product

Vacuum gently to remove surface dirt before washing.
For spot treatment, blot first, then use a mild cleaner working from edge to centre.
Before washing, remove excess debris with a quick vacuum or brush, and check your machine filter afterwards.
For machine washing, use a quick cotton wash at 30°C on a low spin.
Don't use biological detergents or fabric conditioner.
Line or flat dry. An occasional short cool tumble (10 minutes) can help restore pile on some products — don't tumble on high. Move occasionally during drying to avoid bumps forming.
Natural-speckled backing (from sustainable rubber) and small backing marks are normal — lift occasionally to air the floor underneath.
